On the fifth of this month, I set aside the current WIP and began a novella with a self-imposed deadline of the end of January. I’m not a speedy writer. It took a few days to work out the concept for the story. Another couple of days to find the characters’ voices.
The new computer system added tech challenges as I struggled to make old hardware work with the new.
This month there’s not a whole lot of real life going on. Good thing it’s winter and there’s not much gardening. Daily dog walks are not optional, everything else gets minimal attention.
So far, I’m on target with the novella. Keep your fingers crossed for me. ;)
