Joon’s Temptation was reviewed over at Just Erotic Romance Reviews…
Here’s my favorite quote from the review: I did enjoy Jood, Mythos, and Helax together. The chemistry between the three was very hot. The ménage sex was very steamy, I just wished there was more of it.
Tell me, how seriously do you take reviews? Do you purchase a title based on a single review? I have. I’ve even bought books because of a rotten review. Just had to see if the story was as awful as the reviewer claimed.

Today marks 1,000 dangerously sexy blog posts. So here’s six reasons why I blog:
1) Habit–like you all haven’t figured out I’m a routine kinda of girl.
2) Shameless self-promotion–hey, it’s why I’m here. I write erotic romances. Blogs are terrific for posting new cover art, reviews, excerpts, all those bookish tidbits readers and writers enjoy.
3) I like writing–blogs are great for whining about the current WIP, the excitement of a new story, the wonderful ego crushing book I just read, and all the ordinary bits of real life that are funny or sad or entertaining
4) Craft improvement–all writing helps make me a better writer–blogging definitely counts.
5) Keeps me touch with friends–like the social networking sites–a blog offers an open door and friendly invitation to both old and new friends
6) Learning, when I write about craft, or rave about an author I adore, the hard-taught lessons are reinforced in my scattered thoughts, which need all the help I can give them.
Thanks for being a fan, you’re the best. :D

Have I mentioned how many of the classics are free for the Kindle? What a boon.
Especially for me when so many of my favorites are classics. So far, I’ve added all my favorite Jane Austen titles, the complete Sherlock Holmes collection, and I’m starting on Dickens…

Every now and then I pay bills. April is an expensive month, property taxes, license tabs, auto service, and the oil guys usually sneak in for a Spring delivery. To say nothing of the regular monthly expenses–like food and utilities.
What strikes me whenever I review the costs of living is how much I spend on the no fun and no frills stuff. Staying warm or cool, depending on the season, keeping roof, walls, and amenities intact and functioning, feeding the fur-faces and me, plus occasional guests, takes the vast majority of my budget.
Good thing I’m cheap to entertain.

Happiness is delightful in real life and sure sign the story is over in fiction. Once the story’s problems have been resolved there’s not much to tell.
However, endings have their own challenges. The end goal for every romance is a uniquely satisfying resolution. For me, this rests with the characters. Actually, the whole story depends on how well I reveal the characters.
The cast in my head is freakin’ brilliant. Successfully capturing them on the page is the elusive goal. Writing romance involves finding fresh ways to tell a beloved tale with myriad versions already written. What makes one love scene different from another (let alone better)? For me–it’s the characters who make it special.
Story people are created word by word. Their actions, attitudes, and emotions captured by infinitesimal telling details slipped seamlessly into the unfolding story. And just like real people–no two are alike.

Another four star Dalila’s Choice review from the tasteful readers over at Just Erotic Romance Reviews
As the author, I’m fascinated that no two reviewers have had the same reaction to Dalila’s Choice, or any of my titles. What pleases and what irritates are unique to the reviewer. Perhaps, this is true for every reader.
What do you think? Are there universally loved stories? Or simply ones that are more popular than others? Feel free to discuss your favorite reads….
