Once in awhile I prefer the video version to the written word. I’m a big Charlaine Harris fan, so when Dead Until Dark first released I was right there to order my copy. I liked it, but not enough to continue the series. HBO translated it into a video series and eventually I ordered an episode to sample. I was instantly hooked and devoured True Blood.
As an author, I wince a bit admitting I liked the movie better than the written word. Am I alone in this weird preference for the screen version?
