Who all is on your go-to list of paranormal romance authors?

Random research, dragons are usually portrayed as forces of evil, but the guy in the picture , zmaj is a protector.

This was one of the things I loved about Dragon Bound. Thea Harrison chose a dragon hero to begin her Elder Race series.

Do you have a favorite dragon?

Writing a series lets me revisit old friends, plus I already know at least a little bit about the hero and heroine. There’s still plenty of unexplored depths to plummet–this keeps life interesting.

For pretty much all the same reasons I love reading romance series, I love writing them.

What do you think, are series inherently better than single title books? Do you get bored after a number of books in the same series> If so, How many books in the same series are too many?

Coffee Time Romance reviewed Dangerous Secrets! Here’s a snippet:

I love the hard-hitting action that carried through the story. The sex was plentiful and really good. The dialogue was great, working well with the characters and did not fall into excessive Jamaican accents to distract the reader. Support characters play a major role in the book, but readers need to pay attention to who is who and what is going on with them. This is a fast-paced book, and I enjoyed seeing what was going to happen next.

Sometimes the couples in my head get noisy and the only way to regain any semblance of peace is to write enough of their story to make them quiet. The following are from a coming someday project, not the book I’m supposed to be writing.

Sebastian answered his cell with a curt, “Talk.”

Garcia reported, “Hudson took the Boyd woman to the airport, but after he got her checked in he left. You want me to stay on him?”

“Paul’s got him. Find out where Boyd’s going and text me.”

Merde, another dead-end. If not for the gnawing in his gut, he’d accept Granville Hudson on his obvious merits.

Crab Apple blossoms from a few days ago. Like the cherry blossoms festival in Japan, I always feel I should stop everything and just enjoy the few, short days the apple trees are in full beauty.

While researching A Very Demon Halloween, I ran across this charming scene created by Daniel Maclise in 1833. The painting, Snap-Apple Night, was inspired by a Halloween party he’d attended in Blarney.
