Garden Life
June 26, 2008

I’ll tell you a secret, in real life I’m shy. I’ve been on garden tours and I found them exhausting. There have been no real life garden invasions in several years–but this virtual garden sharing is lovely.

Wow, your garden looks like it belongs on TV. I’m so impressed. Do you sit outside and write in it? I wish I had a beautiful quiet spot to write….

Thank you Lori–when I’m out in the garden I’m gardening, usually standing or crawling. It’s impossible for me to even walk through the yard without seeing things that need done.
The best views are from the house and decks–I designed it that way. So there’s somthing nice to look at from every window. This time of year, as I write (in the office) the air is perfumed by roses and honeysuckle.
