Sunday funnies
Jennifer’s wedding day was fast approaching. Nothing could dampen her excitement — not even her parents’ nasty divorce. Her mother had even found the perfect dress to wear and would be the best-dressed Mother-of-the-bride ever.
A week later, Jennifer was horrified to learn that her father’s new young wife had bought the exact same dress. Jennifer asked her to exchange it.
But she refused. “Absolutely not. I look like a million bucks in this dress, and I’m wearing it.”
Jennifer told her mother, who graciously said, “Never mind sweetheart. I’ll get another dress. After all, it’s your special day.”
A few days later, they went shopping and did find another gorgeous dress.
When they stopped for lunch, Jennifer asked her mother, “Aren’t you going to return the other dress?”
“No dear,” her mother replied.
“But, you really don’t have another occasion where you would wear it.”
Her mother smiled. “Of course I do. I’m wearing it to the rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding.”

Six-pack Saturday
There are six individual writers on my blog roll.
1) Avery Beck
2) Elle
3) Gary Williams Murning
4) Jill Sorenson
5) Lori Borrill
6) Sheila Delaney
Four are either published or contracted in fiction. The other two are too busy making a difference to write.
With one exception, when I met them, none of them were published. Writing fiction is an ambitious dream for many. I thought you all might like to meet some talented and hard working people who’re making their dreams come true.

After greedily gobbling up Lover Avenged (which I wrote about last week, here), naturally I wanted more.
So, I did the only sensible thing and began rereading the series from the beginning, starting with Dark Lover . The stories lose none of their charm for me on a second reading.
With most books, I need time before I can enjoy them all over again. There have been movies I can watch over and over. These are the first print books I’ve read that have had that kind of magic appeal.
I just hope she lives long and continues to write.
Do you re-read favorites? Or is that just me?

Wicked Games is Available Now!
You can buy it here
The first chapter is available at the same link.
And my favorite part–the provocative disclaimer: Rating: Carnal/erotica—bondage/domination, spanking
Something for everyone…
Oh yeah, one last really cool thing–there are two dangerously sexy stories on New Concepts’ front page–another first.

WIP Wednesday
Instead of whining about the current story, I’m thinking about the website itself. Since, it is my main promotion tool
The provocative couple in the sidebar seemed appropriate to me. But, I read something that made me wonder here. Then I looked around at several other author’s sites. Of course, no one else has a sexy pair on their home page.
Perhaps, something less controversial would be better…
So, here are some pictures for you to consider:
The apple…original temptation
or

The blue rose…exotic, sheer fantasy
or

Sweetpeas… no? I didn’t think so either…

or stick with the original erotic couple? Who cares what everyone else does?
or just the book covers, nothing but the book covers…
Vote your preference!
PS If the blog doesn’t look right to you, please consider upgrading your browser to Firefox’s latest The link will take you to their home page. Where you can learn everything, and then some, that you ever wanted to know about their browser.
I’m not indifferent to those suffering through a less that delightful visit to this blog–but fixing the display so it looks good in every verision of every browser is beyond my abilities.

Teaser Tuesday
Dangerous Rescue, the second dangerous book, is available in print! You can order it here or if you’re into instant gratification the e-book can be bought from New Concepts or from Fictionwise
Of course, it’s more fun to read them in order–so I recommend starting with Dangerous Surrender

Fan Girl Friday
Naturally, I pre-ordered Lover Avenged– a worthy sequel to the prior Black Dagger Brotherhood novels. If you aren’t already reading them, get going. Fiction doesn’t get any better.
If you want more (who wouldn’t) go here.
A couple of warnings though, the series is addictive (and not just for me). So, be warned–you read one you have to read them all. They’re also very hard to put down once opened. Which means late nights of reading until you can’t see, interfering with anything else you should be doing until the book is over. And even then the characters live on in your head.
Since, I’m hooked none of those caveats discourages me. I anxiously await the next installment, hoping J.R. Ward stays healthy and writing.
