Gotta have a little Nickelback on every playlist…
Six releases I’d like to have in 2010–
1) Demons and Dragons book one
2) Enyo Chronicles book three
3) Demons and Dragons book two
4) Enyo Chronicles book four
5) Wicked book three
6) Treeland book one
Not that’ll all of those will happen, but it’s nice to have dreams.
I’ve been lusting after an e-reader for a while. The capacity of Kindle is a definite plus for a greedy reader like me.
Amazon offered a Kindle for your PC download link
Naturally, I rolled the mouse right over and clicked and proceeded to add a few kindle titles to my digital library. And…I’m a little disappointed. I’ve been using Adobe’s digital edition as my e-reader and it’s nicer. Maybe, I’m judging too quickly. Wouldn’t be the first time.
Do you use an e-reader? If so, please share your impressions.
Whenever I take the time to think about everything that’s good in my life, writing is close to the top of the list. In case you were wondering, health, is number one, ’cause I’m a horrible patient and it’s hard for me to enjoy anything else without it.
Work takes a big chunk of my life. Writing offers entertainment, hair-pulling challenges, and perpetual student status. I can’t imagine a better way to make a living. Well, if I could figure out how to get paid to read….
Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
The current story is nearing the halfway point and the characters are still morphing on me. I always think it would very nice if the stories came to me intact with clear plots, sequential scenes, and well-behaved characters from the start.
Alas, they don’t. I plot away enthusiastically and the characters snicker rudely behind my back, pretending to go along with my plan. Until, I’m deep into the tale then they spring some evil twist on me.
Here’s how it goes–grumble, grumble, giving up, revising, and then grudgingly admitting (to myself, since they don’t listen) yeah–that’s a much stronger story….
Each story I’ve written has had its own process. Wicked Business started with an erotic premise, an outer conflict, and then the characters grew.
Eduardo is a man or honor, but he’s a still a man with a man’s needs. An affair with one of his enemy’s agents is risky, dangerous, and irresistible.
This finding of the right woman, at the worst possible moment makes his feelings bittersweet almost from the beginning. But, Eduardo isn’t the kind of man to give up even an impossible quest without a fight.
This has been an amazing year for me, topping the gratitude list are six releases–
1) Dalila’s Choice Book One of the Enyo Chronicles Sci-fi erotica
2) Wicked Games (first of the wicked series) Contemporary erotica
3) Dangerous Secrets (Book three of the dangerous series) erotic romantic suspense
4) Joon’s Temptation Book Two of the Enyo Chronicles Sci-fi erotica
5) Pirate Rules Contemporary erotica
6) Wicked Business (second in the wicked series) erotic romantic suspense–scheduled for release in December, so I’m counting it.
