WIP Wednesday

The current manuscript is a bit past the halfway mark. As usual, I’m currently convinced I need at least 80k more words to do justice to the characters, conflict, and situations.
Experience tells me that when I’ve written another ten thousand words, I’ll be squinting at the display, mumbling about the story dragging on and that it’s bloody long enough.
The pink cloud stage, where I adore the everything about the tale, happens twice. Once when I first start clicking away forming the plot and all the pre-writing nerdy rituals I love so well. Then once more when the book has been painstakingly edited and released into the world of kind and gentle readers.
